Success in education are children happy and engaged in learning authentically meaningful to their language and identity and equipped with tools and skills of the future. Every child should have success in education-something to celebrate-they should be encouraged to find their element-their passion in education and discovery.

Teachers should have a mindset that every learning  moment is a teachable moment so their learners can achieve and face success!! Teachers should raise the bar in how they teach!!  The skys the limit!

Kia ora Erana Haerewa loving your comment about a focus on identity, happiness and wellbeing.

I loved how the panelists had discussed a need to broaden our view of what 'success looks like' beyond a purely academic worldview. ie: Who's great at karate? Who loves to sing? Who's a shining star in Kapahaka? Who's got a clever sense of humour? smiley
