Are you new to the world of Google? In this workshop you will learn about Google Drive and all that comes with it, including tips and tricks for Drive, Docs, Gmail and Calendars, and an introduction to Slides, and Forms. Come prepared to get hands-on, interactive and collaborative. You'll come away with practical ways to get the most out of Google Apps for your students' learning.

Please note you should bring your Chromebook or Laptop with Chrome installed to this workshop. You will need access to your Google username and password.

Learning outcomes

  • develop an understanding of how to utilise Google Docs, Slides, and Forms to support learning programmes
  • understand the different sharing and file management options in Google Drive
  • confidently collaborate with others using Google Docs and Slides.
