Are you new to iPads and how they can be effectively utilised to support learning in the classroom to enhance learning? In this session we will explore a range of free and paid apps as well as the features built into the devices themselves that will turbocharge your classroom. Participants will leave with a range of effective strategies and skills to implement back in their context.

Please bring your iPad to this workshop. You will need access to your iTunes username and password.

Learning outcomes

  • understand the basic features of an iPad and the Apple suite of apps
  • learn ways of introducing iPads and apps to students as part of learning programmes
  • understand ways of organising and managing iPads in the classroom to support learning
  • use particular Apps and integrate them to create a digital 'story' to share.
