What's new?

Feel free to join in with the following discussions. Just join the groups to get started. We'd love to hear from you.

  • Benefits of Learning This New Language: Allanah King is creating a presentation to draw together the benefits of learning a new language (like coding) and invites you to add some observations and additions of your own.
  • Reports to wind up the curriculum consultation process: Mister_Roberts responds to Allanah's post about the consultation process for Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko content. New material will include a new diagram showing where they have addressed the achievement objectives and progression outcomes. Read more here >>>
  • Hour of codeFriday FunnyMotivated to be an inspirational leader? Here's a funny video that makes some clever observations about leadership - sometimes it takes guts to make a movement.
  • Hour of Code: Nicki Tempero shares how Hour of Code is coming up on the 4-10 December and asks, what resources do you have to share? What tools are you using with your students?
  • How are you using Seesaw in your school? Nicki Tempero shares how many teachers are asking for examples when implementing Seesaw into their programmes. How are you integrating Seesaw into your programme and what tips and tricks have you got to share?
  • Beyond National Standards: With the official announcement National Standards will be replaced, here's an infographic that might ignite some discussion in schools about student inquiry. Are you or have you already embarked on this journey? What resources, advice, ideas, examples would you add?
  • Addressing the summer slide: Allanah King is creating a shared document with strategies for addressing the summer slump over the holidays and invites you to share and add any ideas to the slide deck - that you have for supporting and engaging learners over the holiday period. Please feel free to dive in, contribute and share with others.

These groups have been created for everyone to dive into. Do you have an observation, a wondering, trend, concern question to share?
