Anaru White

About me

I have worked for CORE Education since 2012. I am currently an advisor for Te Ara Whītiki - The Connected Learning Advisory. I also provide tailored professional learning services for schools. I am Project Lead of CORE Education's Educators' Wellbeing Toolkit.

I was an original navigator in the Grow Waitaha programme supporting Christchurch schools.

I have worked closely with the Christchurch Learning Community Clusters (LCC) delivering tailored professional development programmes and supporting the development of cluster visions and processes.

I work alongside communities of learning, kura and schools to enhance outcomes through Innovative Learning Practices and the effective use of digital technologies. I have a background in teaching and facilitating in primary and secondary settings. I am an experienced facilitator in English and Māori Medium settings and within the primary and secondary sectors. I have worked alongside senior leadership, board of trustees, teachers, students and communities.

I also have experience as a learning designing developing online courses, he is available through CORE for personalised Te Reo Māori assistance both face to face and online.

Prior to joining CORE Education, I worked in the primary sector in a number of teaching and management roles including leading the Te Kauhua project focusing on realising Māori education success. Moving to secondary I taught te reo me ngā tikanga Māori and mentored Māori students.
