Learning outcomes

By the end of this workshop, you will have:

  • examined the importance of knowing who you are, connecting with others, the land and the world around us
  • a deeper understanding of how our identity builds from knowing your whakapapa and where you come from, your tūrangawaewae
  • explored local features of the land, ancestors, protocols and stories and how learning about the past helps one to locate their place in the present and future.
