Making it happen - Junior Primary: We will identify aspects of successful Modern Learning Practice (MLP) in a junior school and learn some effective ways of promoting choice, voice and agency with 5 -7 year olds. It is about prototyping and building on best practice.

Please note this is the second workshop in a series of two. It is not a requirement to do both.

Learning outcomes

  • understand the possibilities and benefits of self regulated and authentic learning in the junior classroom
  • identify practical ways to support learners to meet expectations in effective and authentic ways
  • have strategies that can be taken back to the classroom and implemented immediately
  • have strategies to support others in the move into collaborative teams
