Learn about the basics of innovative learning including the drivers for change and the frameworks that supports implementing change in your context. This is a 5 week online course can be taken as a stand-alone course, or as the compulsory introduction to our other innovative learning courses (see Related Courses).

Learning outcomes

Course participants will be able to:

  • Explore the drivers for change in education, both globally and in Aotearoa 
  • Understand how these changes impact on your context 
  • Discuss how to respond to these changes in a responsive way

Who is this for

Teachers or leaders looking to explore the basics of Innovative Learning and what it means to them and their context.

Course format

This 5 week course includes:

  • Weekly 45 minute webinars - these are recorded so can be attended live or accessed in your own time

Those registered for one of the 20 week Innovative Learning courses will attend these webinars before continuing the course in their chosen field for the remaining 15 weeks.
