Do you have some experience with iPads but want to take things even further? This workshop will look at some of the more advance settings and features of the iPad itself that will enhance how you use them in your setting. We will examine ways of supporting students to use the multimedia capabilities of Apple and other software and how students can share their learning with family and whānau.

Learning outcomes

  • understand the more advanced features of an iPad and the Apple suite of apps, including accessibility features
  • learn ways of supporting students to be independent users of iPads as part of their learning programmes
  • use different recommended Apps and integrate them to create a cohesive curriculum programme.
