Wednesday, 22 May 2019
3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

As classroom teachers and educators we are increasingly aware of the impact of emotions and wellbeing on learning. This workshop will include both theoretical and practical ideas. The focus will be on understanding wellbeing from the teacher/adult perspective and how ultimately this can and does apply in different settings.

Learning outcomes

Participants will:

  • have an understanding of the Wellbeing Science
  • have an understanding of how we can use models of wellbeing to support our own teacher wellbeing
  • have an understanding of character strengths and how they can be used
  • develop ideas on what wellbeing could look like for our learners and how to support it in different settings.
