In this workshop you will learn about Google Drive and the Google suite of free tools. The workshop will include tips and tricks for Drive, Docs, and Slides, and an introduction to Calendars and Forms. Come prepared to get hands-on, interactive and collaborative. You'll come away with practical ways to get the most out of Google Apps for your students' learning.

Please note you should bring your Chromebook or Laptop with Chrome installed to this workshop. You will need access to your Google username and password.

Learning outcomes

Participants will:

  • develop an understanding of how to utilise Google Docs and Slides in particular to support learning programmes
  • understand the different sharing and file management options in Google Drive
  • confidently collaborate with others using Google Docs and Slides.
