DETAILS

Teachers really want every student to succeed. For some students it can be hard to know where to start. That's where Universal Design for Learning (UDL), coupled with technology, can be so powerful. The UDL lens provides us with a framework to design curriculum and environments that cater for everyone from the outset. Technology offers students and teachers flexible options for personalising learning.

Learning outcomes

Participants will:

  • identify student needs using a UDL lens
  • use the UDL lens to identify strategies and technologies to support a range of learners
  • apply UDL principles in a curriculum design context.
