Workshop title: Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in the classroom

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a research-based framework that helps teachers plan learning to meet the diverse needs of all students. It supports schools to realise the vision of The New Zealand Curriculum.

This workshop aims to cover:

  • Adapting and differentiating the classroom programme
  • UDL essentials - 3 focus areas
  • Links to Ministry initiatives

Sarah and Liz are current Sencos in the Col andhave backgrounds in Special Education having spent years working as RTLB.  We are passionate about inclusive practice and making the curriculum accessible for all students, and their unique learning requirements.

Intended audience - all school levels.
