Instructional video: Embedding media files

Some areas of edSpace are public, to join in conversations or start your own, you'll need to join edSpace and groups of interest first. 

Here are some simple instructions (4.05mins) on how to embed media files in edSpace.

Suggested size for hosted videos (Vimeo and Youtube) 460 x 265

TO EMBED A GOOGLE DOC

Click on <> source button in the tools and insert the whole embed code that way (including fixing pixel sizes). Here is some code for you use. Substitute the red bit of the code with the URL from YOUR Google Doc - make sure the Google doc is shared how you want it to be shared.

Go >>> File >>> Publish to the web. You'll be able to retrieve the embed code from here.

To edit your posts, click on the pencil tool at the top of your page/blog/event. To edit a comment you have made in a threaded discussion, go to your comment and click on the pencil tool at the bottom of the comment.
