About me

Kia ora,
I entered education to inspire and encourage learners to be the very best they can be.  I believe education must provide engaging and purposeful learning experiences, that can ignite the fire of lifelong learning.  The endless possibilities that digital technologies can bring to the classroom setting is very exciting.  Through my role working as a facilitator for CORE here in Tai Tokerau, I can share my passion of digital technologies in the classroom to inspire both teachers and learners to push the boundaries of education.  Integrating digital technologies can allow creativity to flourish and take education to a whole new level.

I studied with The University of Auckland, completing my Bachelor of Education here in Tai Tokerau, following a few years in the classroom I furthered my study and gained my Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Practice (Digital and Collaborative Learning).  I am currently enrolled in further study to gain my Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management.  I find myself getting lost in research and online webinars to continually up skill myself and I am dedicated to being a life long learner.

I have other interests in education that include play based learning and wellbeing.  I enjoy spending time researching these topics and learning about successful implementation.

My recent move to work for CORE has been amazing and I am loving supporting teachers and students to implement digital technologies in their classrooms.
