About me

Kia ora koutou.

To introduce myself to the group...

I look forward to supporting the integrationtation of a future focused, student and community centred way of learning in partnership. The first significant national step I see towards this is the curriculum centred Digital Technologies/Hangarau Matihiko implementation within the shaping education initiatives. I am driven by finding how we can 'package' this into an accessible, teacher-world-friendly system of ongoing inquiry PLD.

I have recently been involved with collaborations to implement future foc

the writing and integration of the DT/HM into the Technology curriculum. Prior to that I was the Innovation Director of the Mind Lab in Christchurch, Technology expert on working party fro Year 7&8 provision, facilitator of middle leaders with the Christchurch Technology Community Cluster, Head of Faculty Technology at Rangiora High School, Technology teacher of Resistant, DVC, Electronics at Papanui High School, and seconded Technology Advisor at UC EdPlus. I have taught Technology from years 1-13, specialising in digital -electronic products, materials, & DVC - product and spatial design.

I am very proud to be working with the minds at Core Education and look forward to the challenges ahead for us all.
