Tena koutou. Ko Nick Billowes ahau, ko Te Tiriti o Waitangi te waka, ko ngāti pākeha te iwi, ko te Upoko o te Ika te kāinga o tōku ngākau. Tihei mauriora! Greetings, I am Nick Billowes, originally from UK and Kenya a lifetime ago and presently living in the Wellington Region.

I am a passionate educator, a believer in social equity, with a desire to help people become the best they can be and find their way purposefully in life. Leading in this space is energising and fun.

My learning life has been in different sectors of education bringing me to a career highlight at CORE Education. Now, as Principal Consultant, I have a role in the team in visioning, leading, evaluating, developing and encouraging the supporting of CORE's current programmes and future opportunities. 

With a stunning group of colleagues, together we are focused on making a difference for learning outcomes for kids/student/tamariki of Aotearoa, New Zealand. As a part of the Executive with a focus on gathering new business I get the chance to steer a course in new directions. 

My most enjoyable work is, however, the connecting with and facilitating opportunities for our great team, the best colleagues one could possibly wish to work alongside. Together we keep "pushing the boundaries of educational possibilities."
