About me

Kia ora,

Ko Mauao te maunga,

Ko Kaituna te awa,

Ko pakeha te iwi,

Ko Tessa Gray toku ingoa

I currently work online from the Sunny BOP in several online spaces for educators, including the Virtual Learning Network. I'm passionate about inspiring dialogue around the best and most appropriate ways of promoting effective learning.

You might have seen me in online conversations, at live virtual events or in schools and national conference events presenting ideas and examples about; online communities of practice, Digital Citizenship and e-learning professional learning and development (frameworks and PLD) for teachers and school leaders.

My educational background spans 27 years - both here and in London. It includes generalist classroom teaching, art specialist, art adviser, ICT adviser, ICT PD national facilitator and now online facilitator Enabling e-Learning (Ministry of Education initiative) and CORE Education's very own edSpace.

At home, I am the third child of four. I have a fabulous partner, cheeky son and two gorgeous step-children. I'm also proud to be a published author of five books on art and ICT.

Please feel free to drop me a line or leave me a message at any time. I'd love to hear from you Smile
