I have taught from new entrants to Year 8, both in New Zealand and the UK. I have also worked as a Reading Recovery teacher and as a SENCO. Lots of things followed my 12 years teaching. First off it was having six wonderful years at Learning Media in the International team writing and marketing literacy materials to North America, UK, Asia and Australia. This role also included delivering literacy professional development to teachers in Asia. From there I moved into working in online environments as a project manager and then developed other roles including developing educational content for websites and CORE's breakfast seminar programme.
